Adjacency make key hires & completes the acquisition of Elliott James Recruitment

Adjacency is pleased to announce the acquisition of Elliott James Recruitment. Jane Royle brings a wealth of experience and network to the Adjacency offering, and we look forward to her big picture contribution as well as her valuable operational skills.

Jane commented ‘I have had a wonderful time building the Elliott James business and truly appreciate the support I have received from clients and candidates alike. This was a massive decision for me, however I couldn’t find a better home to flourish and continue to look after my loyal client base. The past 2 years in particular have been full on, and the pandemic has led me to appreciate the benefits of a more robust infrastructure. Becoming part of Adjacency allows me to focus on my professional service, and the back office will look after itself. I am really looking forward to being able to take a holiday, in the knowledge I have people around me who will caringly look after my work in progress, allowing me to truly switch off when I treat myself to a much needed holiday. I am excited about the years ahead, and the Adjacency team has already offered a warm welcome, outlining what a flexible, positive environment I am blending with.’

Miles Greenslade, Director of Adjacency, noted ‘as well her clear operational skills which have seen her consistently deliver, Jane has such a positive and committed disposition that we all look forward to embracing her enthusiasm, as we build upon a group of like minded individuals, who enjoy what they do and respect the people they are doing it with.’

In addition, we are delighted to announce the capture of another recruitment expert, Carol Jones. Finally, Carol is joining the team (at our second attempt) and looks forward to enhancing our Interim Management and Temporary Finance service offering. Carol brings 20 years of recruitment experience, but more importantly, it is her style and character we welcome. One of the most caring people you could work with, Carol has a clear selfless approach which clients and candidates value. Whilst remaining humble, she has a determined attitude to ensure she doesn’t let people down.

Carol stated ‘I have enjoyed everywhere I have worked in my journey to Adjacency. I have made many friends from colleagues along the way and I wish them all well. This is an exciting new venture for me, allowing me the freedom and flexibility to go about things the way I like to. I am returning to concentrate on my finance recruitment experience, and look forward to catching up with many old candidates and clients through time. I have a good feeling about the people at Adjacency and that is so important to me in my work life balance.’

Miles Greenslade responded ‘Carol is someone we previously invited to join us. A big attraction is her loyalty, which is why she didn’t arrive the first time around, but we respected her decision and are now thrilled to welcome her on board. Her depth of experience is invaluable, which aligns well with the Adjacency focus on attracting experienced individuals to join the team. Carol will prove a great ambassador for Adjacency and I am confident she will be a big success too.’
